Probably everyone has encountered annoying calls from unwanted numbers. Most often they are telemarketers from various companies who want to encourage users to buy a service. How can this problem be reduced?
When to block an unwanted number?
In a situation where the phone is constantly ringing, you can consider blocking the number. If you are not interested in the offer, this is the best solution. Many phones have a built-in feature for flagging unwanted phone numbers. Unwanted, that is, those reported by many people. Then it will be displayed with the annotation Suspected Spam (or similar). Currently, every Polish mobile operator allows free blocking of numbers, i.e. transferring them to the so-called black list.
To activate the service, dial: * 111 * 114 * 1 #, and to disable it, dial: * 111 * 114 * 2 #.
Enter the Plus Online application. You will find the appropriate blocking option there in the Services. This way you can block all restricted numbers.
Send a free BPA ACT message to the number 8087. Deactivation means sending a BPA REZ message.
To enable number blocking, enter * 110 * 71 # on the keypad.
The process of blocking a number differs depending on whether you are using Android or iOS.
Blocking a number on Android phones:
The Play Store is rich in apps for blocking unwanted calls, such as the popular Answer the phone? However, you don't have to use them at all. The first step is to enter the list of recent calls and find the unwanted number. Then, enter the edit menu, where there is an option Block contact (the name may be slightly different).
Blocking a number on iOS phones:
In the case of iOS, the situation is very similar to that of Android. You can also use a special application. However, it is not necessary to do this, as it is enough to enter the call list and then dial the unwanted number. Next, enter the information and select Block this person in the panel at the bottom of the page. It is enough to confirm the message that appears. In this way, the possibility of any contact from a given number is blocked. This process can of course be undone.
