How to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone?

The iOS operating system is certainly better than Android in some respects. So it is not surprising that a large group of people buy a phone with it. It also entails the need to transfer your contacts. Here are the easiest ways to do it, without any extra work. There are several options, so everyone can choose the one that suits them best.

Apple has an Android app on the Google Play Store - Move to iOS. Its goal is precisely to transition users to the new operating system. It helps transfer to iPhone not only contacts, but also messages, photos, videos, bookmarks, e-mail accounts and calendars. It is not perfect, but it will undoubtedly facilitate the whole process.

Start by installing Move to iOS on your Android device. Then follow the instructions including choose what you want to transfer and click Next. Your iOS phone will create a private Wi-Fi network and connect to your Android device through it. The next step is to enter the security code. The rest will happen automatically.

Google sync:

Most of Google's services and functions also work on iPhones. It will also help you transfer contacts. The condition is their prior synchronization with a Google account.

The first step is to turn on your iPhone and open the Settings application. Then go to the e-mail, select Accounts and Add an account. Enter your Gmail account. This way, the contact list should immediately appear on your new device.

VCF file:

You can also manually transfer contacts from Android devices to iOS devices. This is done by creating a VCF file. Start by unlocking your Android device and going to Contacts. In the menu, select Import / Export and Export to memory (this may vary depending on the phone model). This will create a VCF file and save it. You can then download this file to your iPhone. You can even do this by sending yourself an e-mail. The iOS phone will show a message about adding all contacts.

SIM card:

You can also use a nano SIM card to transfer contacts between phones with different operating systems. Start by going to Contacts on your old phone. Look in the menu for Manage contacts on SIM or a similar card (it depends on your phone). Then select the three dots icon in the upper right corner and Import from phone. After inserting the SIM card into the iPhone, you must go to Settings, then Contacts and Import contacts from the SIM card in order to start transferring them. They will be saved in Contacts immediately.
