We compare Google Pixel 3 vs OnePlus 6T

Google Pixel 3 and OnePlus 6T are now popular phone models that differ significantly in price. The comparison below can help you make the right choice, tailored to the needs and requirements of the user.

Screen, processor and memory.

The Google Pixel 3 is a smaller screen size than the OnePlus 6T (5.5 inches vs. 6.4 inches). At the same time, the pixel density is better in this first phone. The Google phone has OLED matrix and OnePlus AMOLED. However, the OnePlus 6T has a larger maximum operating memory and a larger maximum internal memory of 256 GB.

In terms of the camera, the OnePlus 6T falls better - it takes pictures at a higher resolution of 16 Mpix. So the front camera is better in it, with a resolution of 20 Mpix matrix. Although it seems that its parameters exceed Google's product, it is this phone that ultimately takes pictures of the highest quality. All this is a matter of great software. This is not the dry data on parameters, and artificial intelligence is currently responsible for making really epic photos. Pixel 3 (and its larger equivalent, Pixel 3 XL) won the CNET Editors Choice Award and has a unique camera that performs the most consistent photos in any lighting scenario.

This does not mean, of course, that the OnePlus 6T is missing something, on the contrary, it can also be done with really good quality photos that will satisfy the average user.

Other parameters.

Parameters related to connectivity are almost identical for these two models. They also have the same protections and sensors. The difference appears on the occasion of dimensions and weight. The Google Pixel 3 is 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm, while the OnePlus 6T: 157.5 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm. This first model is, however, lighter, with a weight of 148 grams compared to 185 grams. The OnePlus phone has a more capacious 3700 mAh battery instead. Both models offer convenient quick charging.

The difference between these phones is certainly primarily the price: OnePlus 6T is currently probably the most affordable Android phone from the top shelf. In many respects, these two models go head to head. The camera on the OnePlus 6T phone is very good, but in Google Pixel 3 it is sensational, so it should be decided on by people who care about a great phone to take pictures.

OnePlus 6T is the first phone that has a fingerprint scanner on the display. This means that you can scan the fingerprint at the front of the display to unlock the screen, and the phone has really thin frames around it. The reader works really well and very quickly.

On the other hand, Pixel 3 is a phone well protected from water. It's over with fears that going out with the phone in the rain can ruin it.

Pixel 3 is an objectively better phone, in addition to processing efficiency and battery life. It has a waterproof construction, a great camera that takes impressive photos in low light and useful gadgets from Google software that promise to inform you about Android features and security patches.

However, it is also difficult to ignore the fact that Pixel 3 starts with a definitely higher price than OnePlus 6T. If you choose the latter, you still have a fast and reliable phone, as well as more cash in your pocket to buy many other things - for example, a pair of wireless headphones that are essential in this model.

Regardless of which one you choose, you will still have a great phone number. If you can afford Pixel 3, know that you have one of the best Androids available on the market. But if you want to save some money, the OnePlus 6T is a better purchase.
